As the pirates made their way to Tidewater Rock, they detailed the plan for taking the fortress from its current inhabitants. It was decided they would try diplomacy first, and if that didn’t succeed, it was suggested they catapult the captured sahuagin onto the roof of the fortress.
Fortunately, the lady of Tidewater Rock, Agasta Smythee, was responsive to their talk of trade. Negotiations were proceeding nicely, as Nex also put his seduction talents to great use. A marriage was arranged between the lady and the dwarven monk, one of mutually beneficial political power, and the pirates gained a port of call to call their own, while the people of Tidewater Rock gained a naval power to bring plunder and goods to the beleaguered fortress.
After sailing the seas in piracy, the crew pointed out that they were running a bit low on water and supplies, so a nice wide river was found and the two ships sailed upstream to gather supplies. On their return, however, the Dominator was anchored at the mouth of the river, unaware of the pirates to her rear.
Most of the pirates realized the Dominator was a ship to be avoided, so a plan was hatched to cut the tiller rope, stranding the ship in the river’s mouth as the pirates made their escape. Scuffles, alarms, and fights ensued, with our goblin trying to figure out how to capture the ship and its captain, while the others made off successfully sabotaging the ship and gaining a Chelaxian Commander’s naval uniform as a trophy.
They now set out for the port of Senghor to sell their plunder, increase the infamy of the reputation, and drink some strong grog.
